The Department of Media and Public Relations at the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences at the Gulf University is holding the Second International Conference: Digital Media and Social Transformations in the Arabian Gulf. Its main idea is to look into the issues of digital media at all levels in light of the developments in the Arabian Gulf region and the contribution of modern media to Social Transformations in the Arabian Gulf Region. Through this conference, GULF aspires to contribute to building media policies and community awareness strategies capable of putting an end to the negative impacts on society from social media, especially regarding the circulation of false news and false information.
